Growth Factor Concentrate Treatment
Recently Dr V.S Rathore conducted a training session about Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) or Growth Factor Concentrate (GFC).
The GFC treatment is done to improve thinning of scalp hair. Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) is a treatment that doctors use to accelerate healing in various areas of the body.
It may help restore hair growth. It reduces thinning of hair and increases hair growth on the scalp.
The alpha granules in blood platelets contain growth factors PDGF, IGF-1, EGF, and TGF-β which begin healing of wounds by attracting and activating macrophages, fibroblasts, and endothelial cells.
