Botulinum Toxin Workshop at AIIMS, Patna
One of the workshops conducted by Dr. V.S Rathore was about Botulinum Toxin for upper facial expression lines at AIIMS Patna. Botulinum Toxin is used for cosmetic purposes and is approved by FDA. It lasts for nearly 8-12 weeks. Botox blocks signals from the nerves to the muscles which causes the wrinkles to relax and soften. It is most often used on forehead lines, crow's feet and frown lines.
